Por más que berreen los puristas del free, el uso del término “vanguardia” hoy tiene más sentido que nunca con propuestas como las del disco “Camins Dispar” (Omix, 2011), en las cuales se apuesta claramente por el ritmo y la melodía prescindiendo por completo del más mínimo paraguas armonico y con una formación más bien propia de la llamada improvisación libre: una trompeta y una batería. El arte de la evocación, de la osadía, de la necesaria provocación, del lirismo, de la belleza del espacio vacío está en manos de dos músicos con una amplia experiencia en aventuras de todo tipo.
